Thor is a mix. He was seized by Danish police some weeks ago on suspicion of belonging to one of the banned breeds. A police officer in Denmark said he thought there was some Amstaff in Thor. Three independent experts declared that is not the case. But the police refused. Thor must die.

There is no justice in Denmark for dogs. According to the Danish Dog Act, the police can act as judge and executioner as well. Thor cannot go to court to be heard.

To save Thor, a German rescue organization has offered to re-home Thor in Germany. Also this was refused, and Thor is now scheduled for execution already tomorrow. The blood thirst of the Danish police is sickening and must stop.

Help to make one last attempt to see if we can create so much pressure, the Danish government rethinks this case. If you sign this petition:

Update January 6:
I corrected the text that a German rescue organization was helped by Fair Dog to re-home Thor in Germany. Instead, it was the petition's organizer that on his own behalf tried to involve a rescue to get Thor to Germany.
