Hovawart TV: Run Keiler Run

Imagine a 9 year old Hovawart. A former puppy mill dog. A retired therapy dog. Have an artificial hip due to hip dysplasia (HD). In short, a Hovawart like Keiler. And Keiler still loves a run with dad for charity. Now that is priceless ... although sometimes priceless can be expensive too, which is entirely not Keiler's fault:

Visit Keiler's dad's blog here for more about how the video came about: "World Run Day Mastercard Spoof".

P.S: We are guest blogging today over at Cindy Lu's Muse about puppy mills in Europe: Wake-Up Call For Western Europe

  2. Keilor is gorgeous! I would not have guessed that he was 9, either. He's lucky to have such a wonderful owner.

  3. Hey Kenzo, Hey Viva, Jet here. Hi Mr. Leo.

We really appreciated your guest post over @ Cindy Lu's today.

This video is indeed priceless. Keiler has had an amazing journey and now his own commercial! whoo hoo... $16 for a new key? a bargain, here a replacement key for Mom would be about $300! Hope Keiler received manly man shampoo...

    1. Thanks Jet, we were glad Cindy Lu's wanted to have us.

I guess Keiler's dad just let him dry, all that mud will disappear like snow for the sun in a Hovawart coat ... but you'll find it carefully distributed on your carpet :)

  4. Thanks for featuring keiler on your blog! Keiler came from Germany, moved to the US, then Holland, and now lives in southern Africa, where he has resumed therapy dog like duties at local orphanages and township schools in Windhoek, Namibia.

  6. Cute video, but man was that one dirty dog! Run because you can. Dexter lives by that motto!
